Studio session:
today we were in the studio rehearsing our game show which was very interesting, we had a few error/technical hitches but we were able to address them quickly. I was in the gallery controlling all the sound levels of everything on set. most of the time the sound levels were good but with some clip-on mics the sound levels were not that great so it was my job to try and sort that out.

Week 3:
Final idea/Roles and responsibilities
The group decision was to make a music game show programme where contestants would have a song played to them and will have to guess the title and artist of the song.
I was allocated the role of the sound mixer so I will be responsible for recording all the sound on set during production.

Week 2: Pitching Proposal
we were able to pitch our individual ideas for what type of show we would want to create. my idea was to create a game show consisting of two teams who answer a range of question on different topics to gain points. for each question wrongly answered a team players will be disqualified and the last question will have the most points to give with both teams competing against each other. for this question each team are allowed to selects any member ( either from their team or the components team) to help answer the question.

Studio session:
we were able to go into the TV studio and we learned about all the different roles needed in a production which included a quick session on the equipment that we will be using during production. I was particularly interested in the directors/floor managers role as it consists of a lot of coordination and organisation.
we were also given a worksheet to evaluate our experience in the studio and discuss what we had learned. I learned what all the different roles contribute when creating a TV programme and what equipment they use.

Week 1
While being in the TV studio we were able to learn about all the equipment such as the cameras, teleprompter, sound control, visual mixer and many more. By doing this I got a more stronger understanding on all the different sectors/fields within a TV production. I was also able to participate in different roles such as camera woman, floor manager and sound control.
